      Dear DusX,

Are the freeframe actors the ones that are free from TroikaTronix? Or are they from somewhere else. If they are not copy protected in some way, you could just .zip your entire FreeFrame folder and send it to me so I can try to recreate. You can send the file to mark [[atta]] troikatronix [[dotta]] com
Send the patch that won't open as well.
      Best Wishes,
      Mark

            Dear Ioio,

I have gotten behind on following through with several tasks, your crash being one of them. I'll be getting back on these things today and will respond to your emails.
That being said, the fact that it works on your GeForce card and not your ATI would seem to indicate it has something to do with the graphics card.

                Dear Ioio,

Kill that process. It will prevent Isadora from starting up. This was a bug in the 1.3.0f25 pre-release version -- are you using 24 now or 25?

                  Mark, i'm using 1.30f25 (24 works fine).
I'm not in a hurry, i can still work with 24.
                  thanx

I'm a bit bummed, but Isadora crashes if I load images that are not landscape, meaning they are taller than wider. I am trying a blank new project and I can import an image that is 800w  x 600h. If I rotate the image 90* in photoshop and save it, Isadora crashes when import is attempted.

Could it be a thumbnail generation bug?
It seems that replacing the media outside isadora works momentarily, but upon reopening, Isadora crashes while loading the patch. That may explain some of the issues others may have with loading old patches.

I was feeling hopefull for a minute here... thinking that perhaps this was the problem with one of my patches. However after removing all media, and reopening still I get hung in Izzy on the first scene. hmm.

I have encountered some other issues:

Using the multimix actor the interface becomes unresponsive if images are changed while connected through the multimix actor. it's not frozen, and seems fully functional but I can't deactivate scene nor any parameter changes have any effect. It is very similar if you ever got your current scene deactivated by another scene; you can still see the actors and make changes, but here I can't jump out of it.
One other thing is that some JPG images don't show up. there are no thumbnails generated and they are just blank when run through a pic player. as you see in the attached screen cap. also some jpgs load fine.
Also something contrary to the earlier post, some images that  are in portrait mode load just fine.
sometimes after exiting, Isadora still runs in task manager. one needs to kill the process before being able to run the program again
in general things are kind of inconsistent and can't say they occur with specific parameters but they do repeat with the same files.
