          Dear Users,

We didn't quite make yesterday, but a new version will appear today. I reserve the right to have "today" mean by midnight tonight, Berlin time. You will be happy with the results.

I've just been playing around with some of the new actors; new video mixer and text draw, etc. Really cool.

Just being able to drag and drop videos in is amazing on its own!
For me it no longer feels like an Isadora beta. The beta I have been testing and got to know for many many months has now gone... now it **IS** Isadora 2.0
Mark has been sending us Guru's updated beta versions almost daily - I could hardly keep up! We all know Mark works hard but SERIOUSLY he deserves a sleep for a month!

@Skulpture , I have 39 versions on Isadora installed on my PC right now.. and thats missing a few.

There is so much power in V2.
A lot of ground has been covered, and the early adopters have really helped make this version of Isadora the best ever.

The release notes touch on a few VERY important issues. Codecs and data transfer are big considerations now with HD content. What you can accomplish is dramatically different with different hardware. Please read the note carefully.

                                Just tested the Blackmagic native:

Wohaa, works HD with my Intensity Shuttle USB 3.0 and Mac.
Frames a are super high and just discovered the Video in Watcher with vid gpu !!!
Started mapping the live feed, still no frames lost.
                                Mark you are a genius!

@skulpture I think its the cameras auto focus stuff. Still try to figure out how to switch off all that signs appearing on the cameras display, also switching to standby after some minutes. I think I have to read the cameras manual 😉 There delay is a little bit: how can I find out how many frames it is? I was thinking of sharing a test the next days...

Ah ok it's from the camera. I was wondering if you had some cool face detection patch or something 😉

Because I have been looking at face tracking recently and can't get a plug-in to work.
