      Hi, I am looking at producing an installation using isadora, one Mac Laptop and three projectors. I'd like to generate a particle field where the particles move across different stages. Is there a way to do this?I'm having trouble as the 3D particle actor has a Stage Target attribute and when projecting from different projectors each is given a different stage. Any thoughts?

      Thanks
      Stuart

        You need Matrox TripleHead2Go for your projectors(there is plenty of explanations how this device works). Then in Isadora you use scene that is 3 times wide(that will be split onto each projector) where you move the particles around.

          I added a patch to show you how it is done. You have to set the destination of "3d particles" actor to renderer, then the image is sent to the "3d renderer".

                    Seems like a gpu crop actor might be a very valuable edition.

                      @DusX

                      You can get the same result with the mapper, but not so quick.

                        It would be very helpfull to have control marks/lines in the mapper to know where is 1/3 or 1/4 of the image.
