As I'm working on my patch, I find that every time (it seems) I go into a user actor or scoot around my patch the side panels open and I have to spend time dragging them back to the sides. Is there a way to set the preferences so that they are always closed until I want to open them? I like the dbl click to make a new actor - that's great so I rarely use the left panel. And I only use the right panel when organizing my media.

If you check the release notes. There is a link to a keyboard shortcuts document. I believe this should have what you already looking for.
