      Hey there I have an Panasonic PT-DZ13KE-pojector and i want to use it for a public video projection installation. it should run over a time of 3 weeks and should switch on and off automatically. so my question is, i heard of an option that the projector could turn on from the stand-by mode, when receiving an input signal, like monitors do. is that true? but i couldn't find any feature in the manual! if there is not all any feature like that. is there a function the projector turns on, when connected to the ac-power supply? if not can anybody help me with a rs232  or pjlink patch for mac book pro and how could i connect?

      thank you very much

      best oliver

      PS: the panasonic projector  function, i need is called: power management ready mode, like the PT-EZ570 models have. Need a function to start the projection, when a signal is detected!

        @olm

        Maybe this thread helps you, the first post shows a paid app that can be controlled via midi or further down a user made an Isadora patch: http://troikatronix.com/troikatronixforum/discussion/222/projector-midi-remote
