Edge and other actors

Hi all

I've been watching Graham Thorne's tutorial Isadora & The Edge Feedback Effect.

What is the actor the edge? Has it been replaced with another?

And the actors CI Edges and CI Edge Work? I find nothing in the manual about them. Even in the Actor help...

With which actor can I get the edge of a video?

You also need to be on apple mac to see Core Image effects. Its not available on Windows.

A doubt ... Is the mac version better than win? This has more actors? Are mac actors more powerful?

I'm considering buying a mac ...

Is the izzy license transferable to Mac?

Any advice will be very welcome before making the purchase..
