      Hi,

      I am a bit lost with the actor help options. The Actor Help panel suggests "to see this information from the Scene Editor, alt-click an actor, input or output" - however, when I alt-click I get Scene Editor drag and scale. Ah! I see now that it is Control-click that brings up a contextual menu which includes 'Actor Help...". I will need to remember this anomaly when instructing my students.

        Right... good catch. This has changed with the addition of Scene Editor scaling.
        Now the help is opened with Ctrl + Alt and click (PC)
        So I imagine thats, Control + Option and click on (Mac)

        I will submit a request to have this fixed right away.

        PS: the same help information can be seen always on rollover by opening the 'Information' window (shown below the media panel) by setting it visible, menu: View / Information

          Thanks, that is great to know. Control-Alt-click on an actor, input or output will provide a pop-up help information. Many times the Media Bin and Help Info panel is closed to provide more screen space for patching, on lower resolution screens in particular.

          The Information Window under the Media Bin is where I picked up the Alt-click query. As it appears there as a suggestion below each Help info entry.

          Best wishes

              It appears to be Command + Alt on Mac

                @mc_monte + @DusX

                When you get the new beta build today, please go through all of the help text like the one above and ensure that all the key combos are right. Monty, you do the Mac first and make a list of all of the special key combos mentioned in this help. (E.g., the command-shift click to select links only, etc.) Pass that list on to Ryan and then he check them on the PC. Send me any required corrections so we know this stuff is correct.

                Best Wishes,
