How to use a blue ball as a slider

Hello guys, i'm in the process of making a project for university using isadora, everything is going smoothly exept for figuring out how to use a blue ball as a slider controller.
I would like to be able to change the value of something between 0 to 100 moving a ball up and down, like this guy does in this video: ( i think it has to do with the eyes++ and blob decoder actors, but i really have no clue where to start
