      Greetings,
      New-ish Izzy user here.

      I just bought a new 2017 MBP '

      High Sierra 10.13.4

I downloaded Izzy and re-registered my license. But when I open it up to play around and make some patches my cycles and FPS shoot down to 16 Cycles and low FPS.

I bought this new computer in hopes that it would have enough juice to run smoother than my last set up (2011 MBP which runs things pretty good but not at full resolution)

      any thoughts?

So spice they named her twice, she turns tragic into magic and trauma into drama... Pepper Pepper

Mac OSX El Capitan Isadora current version with license

What format and codec is your media too?

Your machine is definitely powerful enough.
