      Seems like a handy (if expensive) thing to have in one's kit as a projection designer/video technician: http://decimator.com/Products/...

      Has anyone used one of these before?

      Best wishes,

      Woland

          @Woland I had to use these a couple of times. It's a little nightmare to setup the first time (yes i'm part of these people who don't read the docs :D) but quite handy one this step is passed. I like that it tells you exactly what type of signal is coming in on the little display. Quite useful when you need to get a source from somewhere else

            @mookai1973 @Maxime

            Thanks for the feedback, I'll definitely look into getting one. I just didn't want to add it to my wish list if they weren't useful or good.

            Best wishes,

            Woland

              We bought an MD-HX last year and the quality is really good. The hardware seems to have a much higher quality than the Blackmagic converters. And one device can convert HDMI—SDI and SDI-HDMI. You don‘t have to think about which device goes on which end.

              Best Michel
