          @sommerdi you can do it using glsl code. The GitHub example is written for web GL, you can port it to glsl. You can try and start making it on shadertoy.com as that will let you see the results as you go and is compatible with Isadora. It will be a steep learning curve but achievable.

            Hi, initially I wanted to try to build something like 'Flurry' with the onboard possibilities of Izzy, but after minutes I got this little beauty, not much in common with Flurry, but I think anyway worth sharing.

                  You could also have a secondary computer, force it into screensaver, and have the output going to your monitor going through a splitter, then send one of the outs from the splitter to a monitor and one of the outs to a capture device hooked up to your playback computer.

                  TLDR: Use one computer to generate the screensaver nonstop and capture it with a second computer. Would work basically as a live-feed.

                  You could also do something like TeamViewer the screensaver computer as a viewer (without control so your mouse movements wouldn't wake it from the screensaver), then use ScreenCaptureSyphon or Syphoner to get a cropped view of the TeamViewer window showing the screensaver.

                  Clunky, but should work 😉

                      @sommerdi et al,

                      Maybe this is a stupid question: Why wouldn't you just play it as a movie?

                        yes .. it is an option to play it as movie ...

                        my topic is to change parameter according sound/performance and to use a different background. i would like to have the brackground transparent.

                        Yes i can do it with keying, but it looks not perfect.
