@gertjanb getting a grandma proof way to get remote webcams into Isadora is a bit tough, but this is not really something for grandma anyway. You can of course use the NDI scan convertor app to grab a screen and feed it into isadora, chop it up into the different cameras and away you go, pretty resource heavy and reliant on that screen being visible and similar to what you have been doing with a second laptop.

Skype will let you output user feeds over NDI natively and it works pretty well.

Sienna cloud for NDI will let people give you an NDI feed over the internet from a web cam, as can medialooks NDI transport. Both have utilities for getting the video as an NDI stream locally.

If granny really does have to do it just stick to screen capturing skype/zoom (or with the second laptop as you have been), I have been hassling zoom support for NDI integration for a bit over a year now, but no joy.

Its recently come to out attention that in the advanced setting in Skype, you can activate NDI.
This provides a discreet NDI feed for each feed. So one per person.
I haven't yet tested this, but Monty let us know about the feature a couple days ago.

I have the same dialog appearing when I try to install the plugin: It reports that the plugin appears to be damaged and suggests moving to the trash.

Hello, I am also looking for the solution to connect 3 webcams on line, with skype in Izz.3. Online reception and one local webcam. I am not yet very strong, but I download Ndi studio and the plugin ndi watcher, my goal is to enter the 3 remote cams and my local webcam in the set-up and to apply the selections, in different scene. So 3 cams in ndi and one local usb. Could you give me more details on the procedure, is it works? I will use skyp for the transmitting webcams.

                        best regards.

                        Fc
