      Hi all!

Today I was guest teaching a class on zoom and some students couldn't get stage 2 to show. The window would be there, but no output. They shared their screen, and the patch looked exactly like mine. The only difference that I could tell is they were on a Mac and I was on a PC. I will contextualize this by also mentioning as I was walking them through installing Izzy, downloading my patch, and opening it there was a lot of time taken by the students to do this...and a bunch of them fell 2-4 steps behind (and didn't speak up). Some also asked the same question as the student before them.

My major question is: well, what issues lie in my patch, what issues lie in their setup/os, and what issues lie in their use of the patch?

Could someone with a Mac open this and let me know what results?

There are 2 files: one zip (which contains an older patch and some jps for the controller), and one newer izz file. If you could, use the newer izz file and download the zip for the jpgs.

Test: can you activate a camera?

      Can you see both stages?

Toggle the show/hide buttons on the top...

Any other notes about it would be helpful. I need to walk them through again and see if we can find success. Any help appreciated.

Older zip file use for jpgs

      New patch file

both files are working well on my MacBook Pro M1 with Monterey. The only small problem I see, but it is certainly what you want, is that after pressing the reset button, the stage 2 (direct view from source) is black and you must click twice on the show/ hide original video button to get the picture again.

The problems with the stage could come from an older Isadora version on a new computer/OS.
