      Hello,

I'm testing a draw patch but it's not so comfortable to draw and look to the screen on the wall (I'm using a projector).
Can you tell if it's possible to draw with the mouse on the screen of my laptop (for instance using stage preview) while I have the projector connected?
I'm not sure if I was enough clear...
      Thanks,
      Rita

If you are using a 'mouse watcher' actor to track your XY position then consider using the 'stage mouse watcher' actor. This will do the same thing but just look for the stage - it wont matter where it is.

Hopefully this is of some use.

To clarify Skulpture's comment a bit, the Stage Mouse Watcher only responds when the mouse is moving over the stage itself. (I was afraid that the phrase " it wont matter where it is" might be confusing.)

But I have thought previously about the usefulness of a Control Panel object that simply responds to the position of the mouse for the very situation you are encountering. We don't have that in Isadora at the current time. Having the Stage Preview actor respond would be an interesting solution.

I normally use the workaround to have a second stage that is in preview mode and set the stage mouse watcher to that stage. So the second stage mouse watcher controls what happens on the first stage or where ever you like.

Yes sorry was a quick comment from me (I was actually in a meeting lol)

I meant that the stage can be anywhere.
