      Hi

      I am trying to use syphon to texture actor to receive a syphon feed from unity pro. Madmapper is able to display the feed correctly, but isadora doesn't show anything on the stage (hooked up the a texture projector).
      The feed shows up in the server list, and the connecting wire turns green - mousing over the wire displays the floating window, but this just has black and white crosshatch (resolution 860 447) and the stage stays dark - switching to a syphoner feed and it displays fine.

        trying with other syphon in actors gets same result, except for syphon to video actor

        This shows the expected image in the preview when mousing over the wire, but still nothing displayed on the stage. Switching the syphon in actors server setting to a different syphon feed produces output on the stage as well as in the wire preview

          Dear @nick,

          I can try to debug this for you if it's possible for me to run Unity. Is it possible for me to do this?

            Hi Mark

            Thanks. If you install unity you get a month to run the pro version (the one that allows syphon connections)
            You need the unity plugin from here https://github.com/Syphon/Unity3D/releases/download/a16/SyphonUnityPlugin1.0_Public_Beta2a16.zip
            page abut it here https://github.com/Syphon/Unity3D
            I have another route for doing it which is ok, but was looking forward to using Isadora with projection mapping after a bit of a break from her.

              Dear @nick,

              OK. Will try to find some time to install and try. Is it hard to set this up? Is there an existing file you can send me with the Syphon output already set up? Given what's on my plate, it would be great if you could help me out with as much setup as possible -- as I won't have time to dig deep into the manual, etc.

                I will send you a file tomorrow - I'm not far down the curve on untiy myself, but I have something with syphon in that works elsewhere - I can package it up as an app and put it up.

                  heres a link to an app built from unity that displays the same behaviour - works as expected in Madmapper, and also Syphon example client app.

                    I think this may be fixed in version 5 of unity (released beginning of the month - will test over the next few days and confirm.

                      @nick,

                      I'm sorry that I haven't been able to get to this. Just a lot of stuff in the queue. Let me know if the new release helps. If not, I will look at it.
