      Hello

      i had a problem during a production with the picture player, (some pictures where cut in half with black, 5 minutes before the audience came in 😉 ) as other users had before. i read about the glitch problem in that thread
       http://troikatronix.com/community/#/discussion/1282/glitch-with-the-picture-player/p1
      So my question about the "Video Image Processing" Settings is:
      .) do the Default Resolution settings affect all Actors in general (Picture Player, Movie Player, etc.) ??
      Because reading through the manual (Vs 1.5 August 2013) says:
      "The Default Resolution determines the resolution of a video stream when no other

      reference is available."

      and comes up with examples of Actors where there is not such a "resolution reference" (Video Noise, Text Draw, Video Mixer, etc....)

      thanks a lot

      regards birdhouse

          thx for the quick reply skulpture

          i already figured the stuff in your video out.
          Apparently that default resolution is affecting also all picture player actors (watching at the patch cord) but not the movie player actors. seems the resolution information from the picture players somehow is not send through the patch cords. Doesn´t explain the glitch (black cut out) but now i have a better understanding.
          thx
          regards birdhouse

                @birdhouse

                This seems not to be the right behaviour, the picture player does follow the default resolution when set to "scale to default resolution", but not the NEW Movie Player. The classic movie player however does.

                I will file a bug report.
