          it got tricky. I opened 2.2.2 but cannot use my patch because my user actors are already updated to a newer version...

            is installing windows 10 the only solution I have?

              @juriaan @camilozk

              As far as I know Isadora 2.6.1 also works on Windows7, but (<-- does not) | the support policy says that we can only offer support for Windows 10 and above (https://support.troikatronix.c...).

              And why, why, why do people update before a show? Besides that, because I am not on Windows I cannot help you with your problem, maybe @DusX can have a look at it.

                well... lets see if somebody has something to contribute to the fact that 2.6.1 doesnt run before I have to install windows 10, or that my user actors are already too new for 2.2.2

                and regarding your question on why people update before a show. well, there are thousands of reasons why, like "my computer fell to the bathtub and I need to use my older, windows 7 computer". that is one of the reasons.

                wishing for a solution, leo.-

                  @camilozk

                  Win 7 is not tested, and by all recent accounts does not run.

                   I think installing win 10 is your best option, as it is well tested.

                    @camilozk

                    If you absolutely cannot update to Windows 10, then there's always the Hail Mary tactic:

                    Post on your social media asking if anyone you know can lend you a computer in time for tomorrow's show.

                    Best wishes,

                    Woland

                        @mark

                        I see you started a reply but appears to be just the quotation of my user.

                        I am about to re-write the patch in 2.2.2. Installating win 10 is not an option. not today
