Download / upload monitoring

Hi, does anyone have a clue on how to easily monitor the data downloaded by my computer in MB or KB (in real time) and send this information to Isadora?
Any help is more than welcome!

If there's not something out there already, I'd suggest creating an application that monitors your downloads somehow and sends that information over OSC to an editable OSC address.
