         I would think you could get close to the same effect. Using Color Range, masking techniques and motion blur or similar. There are a lot of people doing interesting visualisations with TD.

          @bonemap The fundamental operator needed for this in TD is the feedback operator. I don't think Isadora has anything similar, but I would be happy to be wrong on this one.
