      Hello Forum Members,

      I have been using DusX's control actor and a Korg nanoKONTROL2 for controlling Isadora 3 for a few months now.  I have been quite successful with it for the most part but one thing has given me a little trouble and I cannot seem to sort it out.

      I am using it in part to trigger graphics that fade in/out with envelope generators for a live streamed internet show.  When a button is pressed on the Korg, a timed sequence of events happens to show/hide a particular image/text/logo/etc.  This all works well and I have several scenes created where a dozen or so buttons are mapped to these events.  My issue comes in when I change from one scene to another.  The Korg sends a trigger event to any connected image and fires them all off at once.  Once that has settled down all is well and I can go about triggers as I wish.  I have not yet found a way to stop the Korg from triggering all on a scene change.  Ideally it would default to no triggered events.  I have not found a way to set a default state for the Korg actor if there is one.

      So far I have been very good about not leaving the keyer on my switcher when initiating a scene change and having the burst of images make it to the viewers but I know sooner or later I will mess this up and I want to be able to safeguard it from happening.  Some scenes also need to be switched in quick fashion and trying to time the keyed graphics to come in once the supernova of images ends can be very tight with little time for error.  I'd like to just have the breathing room to key when needed and not have to deal with the image burst.

      Anyone have any thoughts on how I might be able to solve this?  I appreciate the time taken to respond.  thank you for all the work put into this program and the plugins.  It has opened up a new world of possibilities for our little internet TV show and I really love working with it.

        @DustinBoyle

        I'll take a look at this. I haven't seen this behaviour, but I haven't used the actor across scenes very often.

          @DusX  Thank you for looking into this.  Greatly appreciate you taking the time.  It could very well be setup error on my end as well as I have only been using Isadora for about 2-3 months.  I have watched a lot of the training videos and have a decent grasp of it for what I need it to do, just this one aspect has persisted for me.  Let me know if you need any additional info.  I can share the file if needed.  Thank you again.

            I found that a 'Toggle' actor within the user actor, was generating an output on enterscene (resetting the status of the 'S' 'M' 'R' buttons).
            I have added a block that will stop this message for the first (0.001 seconds of a scene enter).
            Please open a support ticket, and I will get this new version to you (I can't attach any files to the forum right now for some reason)

              @DusX Nice,  Ticket created, I just copied and pasted most of my original post as the body.  Thank you for looking into this.

                @DusX  I was able to give the modified version a test and I am happy to report that this version acts exactly as I had hoped for.  This makes my switching and graphics spot on and less prone to errors.  thank you so very much for taking to time to look into this and get a working solution back to me so quickly.  This software and the team behind it are beyond awesome!!!

                  I am glad it's working for you. The modification isn't something I am going to release as an update, since it breaks the resetting of the 'S'M'R' button lights.
                  I will post it here for others though in case its useful to anyone else.
