      Dear community,

I am a big fan of Isadora, even though I probably don't use it to all its potential..

I have a question: I would like to capture drawings made live on an iPad by a performer in Isadora to project then on screens and combine it with further footage.

      If possible wireless.

I was able to do so via EasyCast, OBS virtual camera, but if possible I would like to reduce the amount of softwares running during a show.

Could someone help me out please?

      Thx,

      Jones

Probably 10 different ways to do this, Since I'm have a lot of hardware at my disposal I chose hardware.

3 iPads airplaying to 3 Appletvs. converted to SDI then inputed with 3 Magwell SDI to USB converters into my trash can Mac. So 3 live iPads with 4-6 frames of delay, and everything is Isadora.

Mac OS Ventura 2017 MacPro, 32g Ram ,AMD FirePro D700 6144 MB. Isadora v3.2.6 Los Angeles CA

I’ve done this exact thing. There’s an app called Airserver that lets you mirror an iPad display to your Mac over airplay & output that through syphon.

I’d recommend drawing on procreate on your iPad as it has a mode where it only mirrors the canvas, and not the toolbars etc.

Thanks so much for the responses!

@craigw I would always prefer the hardware option, but I don't have much on my hands. Sounds like a reliable setup though..maybe in the future once fundings are better 🙂

@timkelly I will try Airserver, maybe the computer likes it better 🙂 Thank you also for the procreate app tipp!

              Hi there!

I can also verify that AirServer works like a breeze. If you need any help feel free to reach out / post the question on the forum.
