      I open Isadora to work on it a bit, then close it. Then I open Max/Msp to work on a patch. Then I try to reopen Isadora and it just won't launch. I have to restart to get it to launch.

      Anyone else have this problem?

      Isadora 3.0, Windows 10, Dell XPS15

        Hi there!

        It is quite hard for us to determine what caused this without looking into your machine / the logs of Isadora. To do so please open a new support ticket by filling in the form;

        General rule of thumb; if Isadora wont open anymore the best action is to reset the preference. More about this can be found in our Knowledge base article.

          Is it possible some service/utility on your system is stopping Isadora.exe from closing correctly?
          Please. after closing Isadora, open Task Manager and look for Isadora. If something has blocked Isadora from closing correctly you will find Isadora listed. You will need to end task on Isadora at that point.
          Open a support ticket and we can work with you to determine what might be blocking Isadora from closing correctly.

            I will try this the next time. I reset the preferences per Juriaan's suggestion and we'll see how that works, too. Thank you!

              @dusx So the same thing happened to me when I installed 3.1.1. Isadora won't open anymore without a machine restart. Resetting the preferences worked last time, so I'll try it again. But I wonder that I'm the only person that is having this problem??

                Open Task Manager and see if Isadora.exe is still up. If it's there, end the task and you'll be able to re-launch Isadora.
