      Dear All,

      I am a bit embarrassed that I don't definitively know the answer, but can someone here tell me which Blackmagic Capture Device they are using with their Apple M1 computer with Monterey and/or Big Sur? The list of compatible devices from Blackmagic says that the UltraStudio Recorder 3G is compatible, and that one isn't too expensive.

      (For those of you have a Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle like me, that device is listed as Intel only – which has has proved true for me.)

      But I'd love to hear from someone who has really succeeded in using a device on their M1 before I buy.

      Best Wishes,
      Mark

        Dear Mark,

        I haven't the Blackmagic but the Elgato Cam Link HD and it works well on my MacBook Pro M1/Monterey

        The only insecure thing is that Elgato sells today only a 4K version: https://www.elgato.com/en/cam-...

          Not quite the best answer, but the Ultra Studio monitor 3G works great with my M1 MBP.

             Well, that probably tells me that the UltaStudio 3G Recorder will work too. It's arriving today. I'll know more later. 😉

              @DusX @Woland @Juriaan @jfg @JJHP3 and All,

              I bought the Blackmagic UltraStudio 3G and it works perfectly with the M1.

              I will test with a Windows machine when I'm back near one that I can use for testing.

              It also works fine running Windows under Bootcamp on my MacBook Pro.

                 I can tell you that I have the BM Ultrastudio Recorder 3G working great on two Windows 10 computers, one with TB4 and one with TB3.
                Two of them work fine simultaneously on the same machine, taking 1080p input via SDI or HDMI into 2 x Isadora live capture channels.

                [I was forced to upgrade from my TB2 Shuttle and my original TB2 Ultrastudio Recorder because Thunderbolt 4 is not backwards compatible with Thunderbolt 2 devices]

                     I'm still surly about the loss of support for the Intensity Shuttle.  I loved that thing, and I feel like I only used a few times!
