      Hello everyone,

we are setting up a scene where we need to use serial ports by default.

Where we can enabled  the serial ports by default without user intervention?

      Thanks!

        Hi there Tincho!

I tried a few different options inside the program but it seems that we do not offer such an option at the moment. I asked the tech team for advice and see or they have any way to force this / a workaround.

Will let you know when I hear back from them!

I am working on an Applescript solution for you. It already works, I'm just writing up the documentation so you know what steps to take to set it up. Once it's set up, it will just open Isadora for you and Enable Serial Ports after you boot up the computer. It's Mac-only, so I'll also figure out a way to do this on Windows in case you (or other people with a need for this) are on Windows.

          Best wishes,

          Woland

And on Windows we have the Addon https://troikatronix.com/add-o... for this purpose. To execute an AutoHotkey script that can do the keycode to enable the Serial ports (CTRL + Alt + S)

              Here's what I made: https://troikatronix.com/add-ons/auto-launch-isadora-and-enable-serial-ports-workflow-for-macos/

There's a read-me file that should walk you through everything.
