      Hi,

      I'm noticing that whenever I broadcast with the RTMP streamer the load on my system jumps up to 130%+ (from about 19% when not broadcasting) and my frame rate completely tanks.

      Is this a problem with the actor, in that it will be less of a system hog in a future iteration, or are there optimisations that are possible on my end that will help?

      I'm running Isadora 3 on Win10
      Machine 1- AMD 1700x 8 core CPU, 32GB RAM, and an AMD Radeon RX580 GPU
      Machine 2 -AMD 5900HX , 8 Core APU, 16GB Ram and an integrated GPU

        @thatmattrogers

        It is a rather CPU-intensive actor. How much of a performance hit you encounter will depend of the resolution and framerate of the video you are sending as well as what Isadora is already doing in the scene.
        Do you have your Isadora framerate set to match your RTMP framerate?

          @dusx when I got the results above I literally just had a video in actor hooked up to a projector and the RTMP actor, and the whole thing choked itself down to about 12fps.

          I don't remember what the project resolution was, so I'll do some optimisation experiments over the weekend.

          Thanks for your help
