      Hello

I just built a patch for my MIDI controller (including a learn function) for the umpteenth time. Part of the fun of preparing for a gig.

What I really miss is a "learn" trigger input on the control and note watchers, that gives you a second (or two) to touch the actuator on the midi controller.

The actor would then pick up port, channel and pitch/cc from the touched actuator.

      Cheers

@dusx It is true that Max/msp and Ableton live have an embedded midi learn possibility. There are several on the addons page, but to have a native one in every midi watcher could be nice

@skulpture Yes I love it and use it all the time. But a native version could be nice

Absolutely! I think it's been on the wish list for a while. MIDI/OSC learn would be amazing!
