      This conversation: Plugable Quad HDMI not working - stages show white

      about this product: Plugable USB-C or USB 3.0 Quad HDMI Adapter

       got me thinking....

      Does this product allow you split up the video in the same way as the Matrox products do?
      Does the OS/Isadora see it as one big screen, or four?
      Using a video card that allows four external monitors, would this allow you to have seven?

      Cheers,

      Hugh

      1. new laptop: Dell 7560, i9 11950H, 64 gigs, NVIDIA RTX A4000 w/8 GB GDDR6
      2. old desktop: Dell T5500 2009, Dual Quad Core Processor E5530, 12 gigs, 2x Radeon 5750... Still works well!

        @citizenjoe

        I believe the issue is with the protocol used to stream the video. These devices use there own compression scheme that allows it to travel over USB3, so its not a protocol that talks directly with video cards (at least not like Displayport).
