Why can I move the position in play end over the real end of the film. In timecode mode it is nearly impossible to move the slider to an accurate position because the scale maximum is set to 23:59:59:23. It would be nice if the maximum is set automatically to the end of the movie.

[EDIT: I have adjusted the title slightly to make it more clear what your issue was -- Mark]

Yes, this would be nice. In the meantime, here's a couple workarounds:

We have this as a feature request already and will be working on it for the next point release.

The reason we didn't implement this previously is because the movie number can be changed interactively; thus the ending time value is variable depending on the movie. My assumption (as the coder in chief) was that people wouldn't want to use a slider to change timecode because they would want to specify an exact frame number by typing it in. My bad it seems.

          Best Wishes,
