Do you mean play the image with a Picture Player actor, do this from within an user actor?

Interesting, I can't cause this issue on my systems at all so I assumed its was due to my displays being standard HD.
There is a fix coming down the pipeline in anycase 🙂

Hi all,

I'm attempting to run an external video output from Thunderbolt port into a Canopus ADVC110 into a Panasonic video mixer then into a projector, and when I do it via Firewire NTSC the video flickers rapidly then cuts out sometimes then flickers again. I tried the other External Output modes to no avail. However, I've run the exact same video output setup using Max/Jitter and have not encountered an issue. Has anyone experienced this before? Any advice?

hi,

another one very frequently used in shadertoy and wich doesn't work in isadora:

the variable "texture".

you have to replace it by "texture2D".

this should allow you to use a lot of shaders from shadertoy...

@FOKA your system is crashing with QuickTime. Did you try Avi files instead. I am doing a big show with only Avi hap and don't have crashes.

Izzy 2.5.2 on Windows 10, outputting to a single stage.

Cannot change pictures loaded picture player to regular projector - either when changing scenes or manually changing the index in the actor. 

This is seemingly fixed by disabling 'Shared OpenGL Resources' in preferences...any idea why this would occur?

Welcome. Glad it was a simple fix. 

usually when you plug an HDMI cable the OS switch audio output to HDMI out, check in your system preferences.

@DillTheKraut PS One more thing, I am using HAP encoded AVI's and apart from Isadoras glitches I get much better performance than using quicktime movies on windows.

Thanks, Graham! I did it and it is working. I think that the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 is not included in the new versions of windows 10, because i came to reinstall it, and in the old it worked fine. It would be the moment to use the news DLL, the 110 ones. 

I have another troubles, I go to do another post.

I am seeing this issue. It occurs for me when moving the window between displays. (not off screen).

It corrects itself once the window is fully within the new display.

I will enter a bug report.

Hi, i've recently encountered this error message when opening my status window. It has always worked fine in the past and i don't know what might have changed.

Error status window.jpg if i ignore this the software crashes shortly after when trying to execute some other task.
