This caught me out last night.

Ive had the plug-in in my components for ages... no issues and then all of a sudden I had the exact same issue!

first--i should have said ALSO the global set and get values make it very easy...  that was just to say thanks for that.

RE problems installing yesterday's new plugins with the downloaded Installer:

the folder the plugins are found is

(~drivename)>private>folders>cz>czH9ccb62RaqQk+F75iP1++++TM>Cleanup At Startup>PkInstallSandbox-tmp>Root>Library>Application Support>FreeFrame>(~plugin eg FFGLColorizer.bundle>contents>MacOS>FFGLColorizer)

NB the installer did work correctly 1st go when used on a newer 2013 iMac. the 2013  iMac had the first new plugins already in its normal Library>FreeFrame folder.

however the older laptop did not have the previous additional FreeFrame plugins. When i tried to install again on the older machine that had the failed install AFTER i manually installed and all was working, the installation was successful.

i temporarily removed the new plugins from the laptop and tried to install again, and the installation failed; ie, the plugins ended up in the private folder again.

so it installed properly over existing Izzy plugins on the mid-2010 OS 10.6.8 when installing, just not when the proper folder only contained older versions than the last set of new ones, or no new ones at all.

put back the manual install and all the new plugins appear and all is working at the moment.

I work with a nonprofit theatre company in Columbia, Maryland called Silhouette Stages. For our Spring production we are doing the Tony award winning musical Next To Normal. Our director has a concept that during the show, there would be video projections against the set and backdrop. This would require someone to help us with Storyboarding, filming, and editing with Isadora or similar software. I don't know how long the film would be but my best estimate is 15 mins played through the show in select spots. Anyone willing and able to help?

I am theoretically interested, but I need to find out what this does better than Arduino.

@Maximortal  and anyone else who is looking at this. It is aimed at artists in Tehran and it does start in 3 weeks. I put this here as there is may be a few Isadora users in Iran (I did an izzy workshop there once) -I doubted we would get any interest from outside. I added the english text as then everybody else knows what it is when they see it on the forum (I thought it would be too weird to post only farsi).

The lab is coming up very soon and is in Tehran, we have no resources to help bring people here or cover accommodation but if someone is interested in making the trip I can provide the application in english. If so please contact info@crosstalk-lab.com and you would be welcome to participate the same way as locals.

Otherwise follow the project on facebook as we hope to make this event in the future and in other locations.

I am running a four day Isadora training workshop in London July 20-23.
Open to everyone, Mac and PC. Bring your own laptop or computer since we are in a small comedy theatre in north london, not a media lab.
We will have access to some lights and a small stage. I will be working with Isadora 2.0, for a through introduction to Isadora, but we will push ahead at a very steady pace and will also cover more advanced techiniques including video tracking, projection mapping and DMX lighting using Enntec and Lanbox DMX hardware.

There are some scholarships but I don't think they are 'FULL'. We do (at the school generally) have many foreign student since we attract students from all over the world. I am going to Italy this weekend to do some recruitment last wee my boss was in USA to do recruitment there. SO it is definitely possible/common for overseas students to study with us. But I am not sure about costs.
