What I did is put a trigger delay in front of the one router and a delay inside of the crossfade user actor just to make sure that the triggers do their job in the right order.
I also deleted your video fade actors they are not necassary and your problem was that the video mixer was set to 50 so your video was not going out in full brightness.

try mixing using the 'effect mixer'

using the 'xor' mode, I was able to get the effect you outlined..... it required a 'Video inverter' so maybe you can improve on it a bit, but that will get you started.

I know this is an ancient thread but I just want to say for anyone who finds this and is trying to convert Michel's patch to use the regular movie players and projectors and is experience the two videos fading up and down together...

-Replace the CI Movie Player and CI Projectors in the patch with Movie Player and Projector actors
-Make sure to invert the Scale Min and Scale Max values for the Intensity of one of the projectors (clicking on the actual word "Intensity" on one of the projectors)
      -So, make Scale Min = 100 and Scale Max = 0

Best would be to use the texture projector.
Your actors will not disappear, they will either be automatically replaced by the new projector or the texture projector will stay in the old projects but you can't add them to new projects.

But you will not have to do all the work again.

Thanks for the help. I went with the xlr8 xtrwview and it works pretty well. Occasionally it gives a yellow screen, which is supposed to mean that its not getting enough USB power, but I think I can fix that with a usb power booster. I moved my triple head power to a hub, and that has helped some. Hopefully I can determine what causes the feed loss. Thanks again!

Michel, I did not get the information and I may be mistaking. Just my experience with Hero4 Black and iPad Mini running iOS 8.1 has been live monitoring almost real time. Did not try with Isadora though.

Also I read somewhere(possibly goprouser forum) that live may be sent over Bluetooth. Sorry I have no time to investigate that.

Hi All,

I'm trying to setup EpocCam to feed to my Windows computer but am not able to get a connection between my devices. I think this is to do with the setting of my school's wireless setup. I have tried creating a wireless network from my laptop but that didn't seem to work as both devices have to be connected to the same router and I don't think I can connect to router I've created. Maybe I can though...

I am testing on EpocCam for Android but the performance will be using an iPhone.

If anyone has any insights I would really, really appreciate it.

Going to try using another laptop to create an adhoc network that the computer running Isadora and the iPhone will connect to to share video stream with EpocCam. Fingers Crossed!

I have some performance issues with a project that involves only pictures. I will try to identify the source of the issue and perhaps post a new discussion. I thought that "texture picture player" would improve the performance of the project but after reading this I think it has little to do with this. thanks again!

You can't do that, but in a cases like this you can register a new machine, up to 3 times.

This is a serial device (Lanc is serial) you can use the serial actor, all you have to do is tell it the commands you need to send

Well, in 2.0 there is an actor called "Virtual Stage" with a vid-gpu output that can then be fed to other vid-gpu actors. This is working with some actors, but not all yet. But the concept would allow you to do the kind of things you describe in your post. Best Wishes, Mark
