This conversation: Plugable Quad HDMI not working - stages show white
about this product: Plugable USB-C or USB 3.0 Quad HDMI Adapter
got me thinking....
Does this product allow you split up the video in the same way as the Matrox products do?
Does the OS/Isadora see it as one big screen, or four?
Using a video card that allows four external monitors, would this allow you to have seven?
Cheers,
Hugh
Hello ,
Could not resist, had to share this image & video:
Context:
I recently made the stage design for a concert and one of the piece ((Impressions de Music Hall de Gabriel Pierné) ) was an hommage to Little Tich , en English comedian from the 1920 who was verry samll, funny and loved to dress like a girl.
In one of his show he is making fun of Isadora Duncan and her long dresses...
so I used this part, and of course, controlled the show with Isadora !
cheers!
Hello
I am using one of these - https://plugable.com/products/...
Isadora recognises the displays for stages, however when I 'show stages', I get white screens with no activity.
My MacBook recognises the adaptor as seperate screens, and it works through Qlab quite happily.
Anyone have any ideas?
Many thanks
Craig
Anybody interested in recording 2 balletshows (nutcracker) on video (HD) in Prescott, 8th & 9th of december 2023, please send me a direct message.
I am running a show file where, the ETC ion console is sending out an OSC message over the local network to isadora. I’m Isadora per cue, there is a OSC listener actor that it set to the specific cue number in the lighting console. I have setup the network to be local and input the correct syntax into isadora for OSC to work. The majority of scenes trigger fine when the ion cue is fired, but there are a few that don’t. I have looked at the monitor in both isadora and eos. Everything sends correctly, and receives correctly. I have checked my syntax in stream setup. And I can’t figure out why. When isadora does not trigger, even though the ion has sent the command. It’s not always in the same spot. Some night only a few don’t trigger and other night more don’t. I have gone through everything on the computer and on the network and nothing is out of the normal. Also the way in which I am triggering isadora is something I have done before. My only change right now is that I was running isadora on a Mac, now I’m on a windows 11 intel i5
Hi
V3
I’m using the regular single transitions triggered by go trigger with my space bar on 95% of my Project
I need you use a jump actor on a few scenes
Can I turn of the go trigger for those scenes
Or how can I do it?

Please can anyone recommend a hardware EDID manager / Emulator? I need one that can learn as well as emulate standard resolutions as my projectors are the non-standard 1400 x 1050.
Thanks a lot

Following my previous question :
Re : [[ANSWERED] Where to find AU... Actors?](/topic/8588/answered-where-to-find-au-actors)
I am looking for a way to capture live sound in Isadora and send it to my Windows computer's sound output. Does anybody know how to do that?
Thanks for your help,
Jean
Hi,
I'm probably missing the obvious, but I cannot seem to find a way to output live captured audio (I have to send sound from a room in another room depending on other conditions that I can synchronize in Isadora). I found several mentions of an AUSoundInputActor that should do the trick (in a forum post https://community.troikatronix..., in the release notes https://support.troikatronix.c...) but it does not appear in Isadora on my computer...
So my two questions are :
- Is this AUSoundInputActor the right tool for my problem or is there a better solution?
- Where can I find this actor (and the other AU... actors that seem to exist but do not show either in my instance of Isadora)?
Thanks for your help!
Jean
Hello
Does anyone know if there is a way to dowse the projector in Isadora? I have been looking online for a while and can't find anything.
Thank you!
