I still missing a position input in the Sound Player like in the movie player.

Hey all!
I was wondering if it is possible to record multiple stage outputs at the same time. I hooked up several Capture Stage to Movie actors and assigned them to record different stages in my project and triggered them all at the same time but the only one that is ever saved to the media bin/desktop is Stage 1. I am only seeing setting in under "record stage settings" and "record source and size" to choose one stage but didn't know if there was a workaround.
Thanks!
Hey I'm trying to send Serial data to 2 projectors, I have installed the drives from the USB to serial device, and I have the user manual for the codes that I need. I'm trying to at time send commands. example. I want to send a AV mute command to the projector with according to the user manual is listed a C0D. I had no luck. I setup my serial ports to the correct device and setting. I put in the Send Serial Data Actor, and made sure if set to the correct port. Past that I'm not fully sure if I set it up properly. When I double click the actor and I get a the popup text field, I'm not sure what I need to place here. and then I'm also not sure what I'm supposed to place in Param 1 actor field. Any helps with this would be very helpful.
just for reference, this is the projector manual.
Hi everyone,
I am trying video mapping in Isadora and I would love to ask you all a question.
First, I am using MacBook Pro 2021 M1 chip, and nedis video slitter VSPL3472AT and also the USB-C port.
I want to have an extended image( 3480x 1080) on the wall and another projection( 1920 x 1080) on the floor. Total 3 projectors. And the pictures are what I have done so far.
So far, I can’t join the 2.1 and 2.2 together. They are spliced. I am trying to treat each output as a separate display. I am using a video splitter. But Isadora is still mirroring the display instead of extending it.
Do you have any thoughts? Thank you
Just upgraded to 3.2.6 and surprised to see the massive increase in CPU usage for live capture. I'm on a mac using a HD USB webcam, set to 1280x720 capture in Isadora. With 12 cores (so 1200% is max), Isadora 2.6.1 jumps to about 90% whereas Isadora 3.2.6 jumps to about 950%. Just wondering what's happening there?
Hi everybody ,
I'm working on a live, i have to play in Isadora with live drawing from an IPad .
What is the best way to input this , can i connect an Hdmi output from Ipad to a blackmagic video capture card or is there a better way ?
I precise we work ( the drawing designer and me) with musicians on stage.
Thank you for your help
Following earlier post about inserting triggers into media file duration, I have this idea. Because I am not an experienced programmer I don't know if this is easy or difficult, but here it is:
If the Envelope ++ Actor could have its overall duration determined by (matched to) the length of any loaded media file the same way the 'Media Percent to Time' Actor functions, then creating triggers at fixed points along its length would be very easy, and it would function for any given media in either Audio or Video actors, without changing them.
The new 'Envelope +++' Actor could be triggered at the same time as the file, and this would effectively create a mutable auxiliary 'event timeline' for any file that is loaded into the media folder without altering the media actors in any way.
This external limit on the actor duration would allow trigger points to be placed intuitively, and adjusted inside the limit of the given (matched) percentage/time. At the moment it's sort of possible, but errors cascade along it's length.
This is probably a dumb idea, but it's morning and the sun is shining for the first time in many days...
what is the simplest way to insert/create multiple triggers to occur predictably at fixed but adjustable points within the duration of a given audio or video file?
i feel like this is a very basic question, but setting out to do it, I am finding it fiddly and complicated, so I am asking better brains than mine to share their method, if they wish to...
Hi,
Finally I paid Atomos Ninja V for record my Isadora 3 sessions via HDMI.
Haves anyone here an experience in Ninja V? It seams I device do not include any USB ports to connect it to my PC to transfer recorded video files for it.
I am not got this device yet from Atomos reseller and it comes to me next week, because reseller haven't it in warehouse in my city and I need to wait they delivers it to my city.
Hello!
I want to use a camcorder to motion track dancers to create a water-ripple effect like this (https://youtu.be/1BZQdugLj5w) and project both dancers and ripples onto a a screen behind the dancers in real time. If I place the camcorder in the house (audience), it creates the infinite mirror effect. Is there a way to avoid the infinite mirror effect...? I feel this is such a fundamental technique but can't figure it out...
By the way, this is the patch. water-ripple-motion-track.izz
Thank you!
