Here is the current configuration if anyone needs it

Netgear 5 port unmanaged hub

MA2: 192.168.1.111

Setup/Network/MA Network protocol
Unicast to the MAC IP, Amount set to 16, everything else default.
Art-Net output button set to active

MAC: 192.168.1.64

@juriaan thank you for your detailed response! It's great to follow your workflow and suggestions. The theatre that I work in has an ETC EOS GIO @5 and a ETC Gadget II so I will take a look at connecting this up with Isadora in the first instance.

If I made what you propose, the lamp flash randomly. But I don't understand why or what happen with this change. I don't have the same fixture and for my test I don't use this patch. I have a Botex Dimmer with 4 sockets. In one sockte I have a normal office  lamp)it could be also a motor) and I use the simple patch I sent you- With this patch I get also randomly flash of the lamp and a randomly flashing of the 4 channel on the dimmer but so what…

I think I will buy another USB DMX. I read here (unfortunately only in german) https://wiki-de.dmxcontrol-pro... that there is two sorts of usb Dongle: activ and passiv. Activ are better and use the DMX USB Pro protocol but I have a passive using the open DMX USB protocol. A problem is that information (active or passiv) seems to be a secret and cannot be find in the product descritions.

Thank you for your help but I think I let it with my workaround or a new dongle. To bad, I found it was a good solution for students because the interface was very cheap and convenient for small project or test.

I run the unit now  in Isadora with Madmapper. I am just playing with the scaler. I would already be very helpful if the Size also had an option for spacing. Now the repetitions only got that option. If you add spacing for the pixels as well, you can manage that 48 by 16 very good. Since I make a sort of step sequencer (yes within Izzy mapper!) I like to give all the positions enough room to see the right color and intensity.

Yes, it appears the card is an internal slot. I might get in contact with Jason at DMXKing about if it is possible to self-install the card into the device. The Mac OSX version of the software does not include the recording function, so I want to look at the art-net trigger functions for recording to the device.
