I cannot confirm it is working in another Isadora document. Only if I have already some controls in this document and auto renumber ID conflicts enabled the control IDs will change but if auto renumber ID conflicts is disabled I get double IDs and renumber doesn't work.

To better understand how this works, can you tell me what the rules are for changing IDs.
Is the change done according to the place in the control panel, according to the order of creation or ...

Thanks to the efforts of @Michel and the two IT pros we work with, the forum seems to be back in good working order after the recent upgrade to NodeBB v1.15.

1) iOS and Mac users can post again from Safari
2) The downloads all seem to work now, including .izz files

Actually, I was kind of expecting it... (together with all that sound routing and other great stuff). In any case, expectation does not make me less happier. 😄

in my case Torus and vortex distortion are the ones used in that patch.

i will continue to investigate and try to find something approaching in GLSL shaders.

I apologise for starting the fire and running away. Probably not good form! Just a couple of things on and the numerous plate spinnings of the day.

I will look to try Marks and others comments and go through the troubleshooting possibilities.

I am on a college network and have tried both a wired/wireless connection. These, apart from the obvious, have different connotations to the IT system here.

The content continues to reduce in quality over a mixture of set ups. It is  nowhere near as bad as the images from Sweden. I have tried this method from Macbook pro's, airs to imacs and the same quality reduction occurs.

I will trial the above methods and come back as soon as possible.

I must add that I think this is a brilliant tool and the possibilities are quite interesting. Please do not take the is as a criticism of people or Isadora. I have always found the advice, guidance and the program to be top notch. Felt I should sure clarify this as often shortened posts on forums can convey a different message.

@plem I run into this problem over and over on mac! And the Solution from PAZ is the one. the surveilance of mac os is amazing. not only within downloads.

Hmmm just wondering or this is also the case with larger movie files. Dont know or the movie is already in memory if the speed is set to 0.

Yes, try the other codec and let me know how that goes.

So both ways do work.  And both seem to have minimal impact on the machine.

My reason for chasing this was so a looped video would not burp each time I hit the space bar.  Currently I am reloading the video in each scene and thought that was the issue.  But this backup computer just bumps no mater how I do it.

My real video computer can handle it without a problem.  But we have a backup for a reason and I am using it for a reason.  

Thanks for the help I did learn some new things today.  And after this I will upgrade isadora.

The range data type is really weird and a pain in the but to try to change dynamically.
