Another thing to try is to temporarily rename the folder you have all your media in (or open the file on a different computer that doesn't have the media) so that when you launch the file, Isadora can't find the media. If the media in the angry Scenes at the end is the problem, then loading the file without the media means you should be able to get into those Scenes to delete them, save the project, then change the name of your media folder back (or port the updated file back onto the computer that has the media), and then open & run the updated file without the problem Scenes.

You could also send us the problem file and tell us what Scenes are the issue in a support ticket using the link in my signature and we'll see if there's anything we can do for you.

Hi! 

I checked, the .dll files were not corrupt. 

But your tip inspired me to do more research into .dll files 

Finally on the Open NI site https://structure.io/openni and downloaded this (OpenNI 2.2.0.33 Beta (x64)). 

Once installed everything worked. 

I tested on both Windows 10 Pro and Windows 11 Pro. 

I hope it is useful to someone else too. 😜

Hey! We were talking about this in our internal channels.. Something that I would love if you could give it a shot is using a master scene.

The actor that I wrote called IzzyEos, which can be found here (https://community.troikatronix... ) has an example file to show you what I mean with a Master scene approach. It is basically a background scene that stays activated.

Thanks so much for the referral to the new address listener. That's totally resolved the channel and address shortage issue, and delighted that brings Izzy in line with the packets I'm sending to the other apps running OSC.

- on the old multiple listener issue of MAC ID's not being passed- your workaround of force-stetting the multi-listener to text, then converting the text back to number worked for me. The listener was auto-setting to the first item in the list - typically a float, and then any item that was not a float was not being output. In any case, that is resolved with the new address listener.

- I can keep investigating the old multi-listener channel offset issue if helpful for TT, but the new address listener is such an improvement(!) I wouldn't otherwise bother.

I forgot to add that the workaround is to set your system language and keyboard to English, which should let you use the contextual menu again.

Sometimes it can help to rest the Isadora preferences.

You can quickly reset the Isadora Preferences in Isadora 3 and later by choosing Isadora > Reset Preferences (macOS) or File > Reset Preferences (Windows) from the menu. A confirmation window will appear. Click OK to reset the Isadora preferences, then relaunch Isadora.

Big thanks to @woland for sorting out my issue with opening this file. 

The solution was to reset my Isadora preferences!

Just thought I'd share this info as it might be useful to others in a similar situation. From the menu bar: Isadora - Reset Preferences.

Hi there,

just a warning for those on W10.

On my machine I've got two partitions one that is updated regularly and the other one only gets updates after a while of not detecting any trouble.

So as the title says, after the latest update some videos did not play anymore. There's was no error, they just won't play or freeze at the first frame. These are all mp4 H264 videos. On the not updated partition everything was still working fine, therfore I assumed the cause was the recent update. Since the issue persisted even after rebooting.

This is the W10 version where I detected the issue:

Windows 10 Pro.Version. 22H2 OS Build 19045.3448

I've just checked the codecs and could find no consistent difference between movies playing and those that were not.

This morning I've tried again and all videos play fine again, also in the updated partition. So maybe it was not the W10 update as I thought. The difference to now being a FOCUSRITE and a BM Intensity Shuttle were connected yesterday. However, when booting up in the not updated partition, wothout changing anything else the videos worked fine inspite of not working in the updated partition.

I guess sometimes weird things just happen.

I would try fixing the fade times in Isadora. 

Out of curiosity, why would you not want the fade to be complete before firing the next cue?

@wolandJust did , We will see if this helps, My main issue is the light board firing cues faster than Isadora fade times and Isadora getting tied up with midi and soft/hard crashing

hi @nandada, i haven't hit any snags on my M2 MBP 

As expected am getting much better performance compared to my 2019 MBP. Load is around 50% when running 8x 1920x1080 HAP encoded videos simultaneously (with 1 out), with settings of target frame rate 30fps, general service 20x per frame and display refresh scaled.

My 2019 MBP would hit 100% load after running more than 6 simultaneous videos, so i previously used a target frame rate of 15fps

Have borrowed a couple of monitors to play with 3 out and will report back results soon
