If you have a geforce video card, you may have streaming/recording options built in and available via the geforce experience app.

well, yes, but now I'm trying with two monitors (16:9 and 16:10), but I noticed the same with the two projectors (both 1920x1080). (Now I don't have the both projectors here, therefore the monitors for testing.

yes, the monitors (or projectors) are/were aligned as you show, top edges aligned.

The only problem is that you have to buy a Blackmagic camera like this one : https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/fr/products/blackmagicmicrostudiocamera4k Still affordable but , lenses make sometimes increase the price. The external gpu, should work (and provide great performance) as long as the 'shared opengl resources' feature is turned off in the preferences. The 'shared opengl resources' feature doesn't play well with mixed video cards. Remember this will be an untested configuration, so there may be unforeseen issues, but in theory should work.

@monsieurmeus Yes You are right, I need to put a Limit Scale Value after the Wave Generator to select columns and rows between 1 - 10. There might need to be a Float to Integer as well. Thanks for pointing that out, there can be a lot going on in a project prototype. Cheers Bonemap

Its important that you setup the serial ports properly, the baud rate has to be set the same on projector and Isadora. I also would like to express my sorrow at this turn of events. I know all to well the ramifications of these unfortunate events. I suspect the last license I purchased for a client may have fallen into that pit and feel extra bad.

Yes I tried the midi monitor in Isadora, it's super handy-MIDI Monitor is just a double check thing ))

One topic that always comes back to me while creating Isadora patches is how to deal with Randomness. Different methods produce different results. Using Wave Generator or Pulse Generator + Random. Trying broader or smaller number intervals. Converting a result to float before or after remapping its range. Etc. I would love to have conversations with people that are also interested on methods of generating random numbers, and how factors that would not seem to mind sometimes completely changes a patch 😉

I am passing all the Video Inputs through a User Actor that Mixes pairs of related content / uses the Zoomer actor to change its size and properly positions then. not sure where to post this, but I thought I would share my first Isadora show.. this was a clip my wife got from one of our days at our VBS.

I used Adobe CC to create all the content and animate the character in Adobe Character Animator.. then ran everything back in a video bin... pretty much only had a night to do everything, we were way behind this year.. anyway, I hope in the near future we are going to reshow the entire play and I'll try to get it filmed, it's about 30 mins total..

all the video, music, and audio fx were triggered in Isadora.. the lights were on a separate computer for now.. until I get that connected to Isadora..
