Could it be that you were running Isadora v2.1? There was a bug that got fixed with MTC. Perhaps this is why it didn't work for you.

Did you have any luck with this? Sorry no one has replied. It's a fairly specific item - not many people use them I imagine. This combined with not many people using e-motion, the help is limited.

Anything based on SimpleOpenNI (including NIMate) takes an age to initialise skeleton properly unless it can see full height (feet to head) in shot. When you get too close, frequently skeleton legs start to go whappy - skeleton doesn't like it when it can't work out where a limb is, and just makes something up, which often freaks out whatever the Kinect is driving... One of many reasons I avoid using skeleton and prefer depth blobs. Otherwise, you have to add your own checking routines to remove limb markers between your middleware and output, or disable whatever that limb is driving when the coordinates exceed screen / stage / world boundaries or just vanish.

I use the following patch for image or Text. Make sure the rate of the envelope generator matches the frequency of the pulse generator! And according to your needs simply connect the picture player or the text draw actor.

For directions you simply change the value 0 and value 1 of the envelope best

My new working patch is very similar, but it works without the second counter connected to anything... no idea why.  My show is Saturday and I'm hesitant to change anything. Your way is obviously better. I really do appreciate you taking the time to send it out. Best,  John
