Fred figured it out for me.  I've been using Chrome and pulled the .bundle version of the download not the .zip.  I may have seen this kind of pop-up before but I am not familiar with it.

Sure enough, downloaded with a .zip extension and then decompressed it and it is now working. Thank you all!!!! -Alex

It does say that I have to replace the projector and movie player actors because it is an older version, but that is easy enough.  Thanks again, @Eight - I am going to try this in class this week & I will let you know how it goes!

I've bring trying to use my Lego Mindstorms2 that talks NXT with Izzy for a couple of years and although I can remotely control it trough BT, is not the same of course, I'll have to learn Arduino language I suppose**...

Syphon to image is crashing Isadora v2.01. I use my own syphon no crash.

The list is okay.

First I would recommend you update to the latest Version 2 release.

In version 2 the goal it to simplify the players, and projectors. So using the 'Movie Player' and the 'Projector' is the recommended actor combination.

Unless you are changing playback settings, you will benefit from AV foundation integration, so if possible I would suggest setting PB-Engine to performance.
 (If you are changing playback interactively I would recommend HAP as your codec)

I appreciate the gory details and I look forward to the new release.  I guess the only thing I would add as a feature request would be the ability to create a virtual stage that comprises of multiple physical projectors edge blended together.  That would speed up my process immensely. @Reinhard Thanks for the tip. I know there are many ways to work around the problem, but I was hoping there was a real solution, which Mark has said is coming soon. Craig

Here's my file.  Both scene are doing the same thing.  In D, my video actor has "go input" initialize to 0 and "active input" to on.  In normal condition, I'd press the space bar and it send the 1 in "go". Second space bar will deactivate image. (I simplified the patch to see the problem) But, when you enter the scene there's is a trigger automatically sent that put 1 in "go" and 0 in "active", bypassing the behavior I'm trying to program.  In D2, you can see the same thing on the 3 video user actor. They should be all on 0, then the space bar activate the first one and the others after a delay.  I can precise that the Go cue actor, cue 3 voies has been copied from older patch created with previous Isadora 2 version.  Many thanks for your help!

Glad to help. I think the file could be a useful example to your students of the principle. In the end though, scaling this up to dozens of points is something better done in a traditional programming language like C or Javascript than in Isadora. Yes Fred is right. AE is the only way to do this really. Isadora masks are not the same as AE. I think what Fred is suggesting is that you could make a single line going from left to right in a video and then take multiple masks of it and place it to fit around the shape. Could be tricky and take a bit of time to do.

yes i tryed some routings in the scarlett mix console.
but in this software you can see normally all on the machine processed daw audio channels. than you can take them and route where ever you want,
so. isadora dont send, in my case, to any output channel than to 1.2, so i can not play the output of differend audio actors to different output channels.

so a little start help will be great.

But correct me if am wrong, i red in the release notes, that i should set the ‘optimize’ input of the Movie Player to ‘performance’ with H264 codec. But could´t find it in the pre-release version.
