Hope you found a solution, but for future reference, you can send MIDI further using MIDI line amplifiers (MLAs). I'm certainly no expert when it comes to sound-world, but we used a number of MLAs on the production I just finished working on to send MSC from a QLab computer to and from an ION and an Isadora computer.

In the office though, I don't have access to the router settings, unfortunately.

Never had this problem and I do it all the time. As a beta tester I have many versions going all at the same time.

Delete folder, empty trash can, maybe restart machine and try re-downloading the installer.  If the problem still happens then there must be a very unique issue occurring here. Please report back 🙂

I use a simultaneity actor to specify an area for tracking.  Connect the eyes as above to the column and row; specify the area you want using the inside range.

100 times a delay! Why you dont try to use Puredata, its easy to manage a variable delay and its free, I think Isadora is not the best tool for delaying a sound, it's so easy to command Puredata from Isadora via Midi or OSC and you can send sound from Isadora via soundflower. You can find easily sample of how to do it. Jacques

I am glad you found a solution in time for the show. It would be great if you could migrate the solution to Isadora and share it. As you pointed out there is very little information on these things available If the problem was hardware related, thats a tough one to pin down.

Thanks @jhoepffner, it work great. I add a gate on the loop end trigger to make my ON/OFF button. (the id control number 1 is my Bin Picker). I will include this patch in my final one.

Thanks for comments but I solved the problem quickly after posting. Instead of using the Jump+ actor which has the fade in/fade out times I just used the simple Jump actor with just the fade out time. This allowed me to control the slow or quick fade outs that we needed (we're doing the play Grey Gardens and projecting onto the set). To solve the flashing I changed the blend to 'transparent' instead of just  the 'additive'. This not only solved the flashing problem but it helped get rid of the brightness slump that we were experiencing when transitioning from scene to scene. Visually it looks great. In reply to the first post, I like using the scene to scene mode because we use our projections in conjunction with our stage lighting and the lighting operator does both during the play, so it's easier for us to build scenes and create playbacks that function similar to a light cue. Then the operator just pushes the space bar like the 'Go' button on a light board. I read up on the Envelope Generator and that was where my problem solving seemed to be headed. I will play around with that in the future when our next play will use images and video simultaneously. Love the program and thanks for the posts.

Well remembered Michel. I hardly ever use that actor. Forgot about it. 

@DusX You are right: I was testing the osc transmit actor by trying to type a text directly into the value input, and that would not work. Connecting the value to a Text actor allows to send a text out.
