Here's probably an easy one, but I haven't been able to figure it out anywhere. Once you have connected a trigger to a control panel button/slider/dial/etc, how can you undo it without simply deleting the actor and resetting?

I'm trying to add a bit of wibble, a touch of wobble, a slight organic-ness to a 3D line animation.

I find the lines that are generated in Izzy are a bit, erm, straight. 

I've tried to add Gaussian Blur and Threshold, which works for more organic shapes, but doesn't do much with straight lines. I used to use Displace with a random cloud bump map, but that's only cpu, and the patch I'm running is pretty heavy, so I would prefer to keep it gpu.

Does anyone know of a nice effect, maybe a GLSL shader, that will distort the image slightly?

Can anyone suggest a way of smoothing a variable only when it is counting down, not up? ie I want the output to follow the input variable in real time only if the last value is less than the current value; however, if the last value is less than the current I want the output to fall back down slowly and smoothly. You could view this another way as being reactive to impulses but with a long decay.

I'm new to Isadora and struggling to figure out how to accomplish the following: 

I have a video in scene 1 which is triggered when entering scene 2 (the starting point of the show) with activate trigger.

In scene 3 I have a video that I want to fade in onto the video playing in scene 1.

The idea is that this video in scene 1 keeps on playing in the background and other videos are played on top in different scenes, and in other scenes we just see the background video.

I have it set up so that this works great, using layering mode 'ungrouped' and setting up the layer numbers etc. 

But when I move to a new scene (say from 2 to 3) and fade-in a video on top of the video playing in scene 1, there's always a cut to black. This, I guess, because there's nothing to fade with since the background video is not playing in the scene preceding it, but in scene 1... 

If this explanation is at all clear, is there a way to do this? Or is my basic setup the wrong approach to do this?

Hello! I just started with Isadora today and tried to activate it. The window pupped up to register but I could not type in any of the fields for username, password, etc. The cursor would go there but when I typed nothing came up. A long-term Isadora user was coaching me and was very perplexed by why this happened. I'm on a Windows laptop, does anyone have advice for getting past this? I wasn't able to activate offline either, unfortunately. Thanks for any help!

just wondering if anyone has managed to send values from Izzy to ETC nomad to control individual DMX values ?

I’ve used the  enttec pro previously and it worked a treat , but have got a nomad at the mo so would love to have the similar functionality.

i quest my self witch actor doing at my case. in ani case I prefer a singole actor for do it , at a possible patch preorder for job the device.

I am tracing a person through a camera and leaving a trail on a screen/projector with a 3D-particle actor.
I thought it could be interesting, if there is a certain point, when the trail/the white color on the screen e.g. is taking up a certain amount of space, then I would like to trigger something happening. It could be a change of light.
Is there a way to do that?

I'm looking for tips to reduce aliasing in the Text Draw output. Are some fonts better than others? Should I make the Text Draw Actor screen size larger than the project?

any help appreciated. or just point me to the stuff i can't find. Thanks
