I just confirmed, that with version f25 on windows, I can capture at halfsize (or full), with scale to defaut set, and all is working as expected. (f24, did not allow this for me)
So I would look for a newer version. I am pretty sure that @Mark has posted some elsewhere in the forum.

@Gietenkaas, it is absolutely possible to run multiple TripleHead2Gos off of a rMBP or a Mac Pro. The key is that you need to configure them both individually via USB and then disconnect the USB for one of them and plug it into something like an iPhone charger for power.

+1 I stick to BNC when I can.

Plus BNC booster are not that expensive; lots of second hand ones on good old ebay.

I have run Qlab triggering Isadora running on one PC without too many issues.  You just need to have both programs running and choose QLab in the Isadora MIDI preferences and Isadora in the Qlab MIDI preferences.  No third party software required.  Since both programs are pretty much infinitely programmable as to what message is sent/received, you just need to pick something and stick with it.

I'm only going to say so much because my solution to this very problem is where I make most of my programming money but I will say this: the slave machines only have one scene, I prefer Net Broadcaster to OSC, and Applescript is your friend. I think my biggest piece of advice is to very clearly definite the parameters of functionality for your system before programming so you can build a set of patches that aren't going to require you to spend a huge amount of time switch between computers/screen sharing windows. Doing a show with two playback computers where you're constantly switching back and forth to make programming changes during tech is workable but once you get much past that there is no way to avoid significantly holding up the tech process every time you need to make an ostensibly simple change.

Try to set the video settings in the Blackmagic Design Control Panel. Try to change the settings with video capture stopped. Try to run isadora as administrator. That kind of tricky things happened also to me. Best Mehdi

You can efficiently record the video output of your mac using syphon recorder and a syphon output from your patch- all on one machine and good quality.

That, is strange- are you sure you get a seamless switch? There is no genlock or real frame synchroniser on the individual inputs- if you get a seamless switch it is pure luck- the devices you plug into it (outputs and inputs) and the switcher are getting their refresh sync from the power source they are plugged into- not a black burst generator. If you want a seamless switch you need to sync the signals either by sending reference to all devices (this means you need gear that can accept external sync) or the switcher needs to have a frame synchronizer on every input. 

It would be a lot of luck to get a seamless switch- it would mean that when you turned on your input and output devices they just happened to be exactly in sync, some screens react differently when they re-sync- for sure your capture box is not designed to do this (re-sync) quickly just, well. Maybe it takes a little longer to sync than the screen. To get a round this you can use the freeze actor and hold a frame while the input syncs then switch back to the feed, or if you need the seamless switch you need something with multiple synchronised video inputs like the V4. my kinect took a heavy kick during a workshop on a darkened stage, shattering its backbone and necessitating a modification. Jamie was talking about doing this anyway to get more control over where the camera is pointing. of course i had to remove the tilt mechanism, so if anybody out there has a kinect with a burnt out motor - let me know and i'll send you all the bits in the base i removed.
