Anyway, v3.0.1. is ready for download. Isadora was doing crazy stuff with numbers that ended one or more zeroes. It's all fixed now, so please discard v3.0 and get v3.0.1.

Looks like you should be good to go with Isadora 3 this summer.

There is another option for installing and using Isadora 2.6

You can create a small partition  (48-64gb) and install an older mac OS on that system (high sierra is fine).

It's not ideal, but it will bridge the time until Isadora 3.

I have a MacPro 2013 6 core D700  and a few datapath x4's and triple head DE's I can test on.

It would be devastating and highly disruptive to have the Isadora forum compromised. Best to keep vigilant and on top of user privacy. Is it possible to consider stripping user data from archived forums if you think there is the possibility of a breach?

Any idea of the ETA of Izzy3? and does the new pricing come into effect at the same time? I've got a bunch of students hooked on Isadora and the university wants to buy a license, but i recommended they wait until the new educational discount is in the system.

That is totally understandable. We are so much looking forward to  Izzy 3.

How about a convention to kick off the new version sometime soon?

thankyou! very belatedly just updated to High Sierra and first software I checked of course was izzy. There was an audible 'pop' as it crashed each time, but this fix seems to have done the trick.

I believe all DirectShow playback will be 64bit, so this means Hap Avi will be 64bit.
I just did a show using all Hap Avi content (128gb of content) and the only issue I have with it (other than know limitations like no backwards) was the compression time. It is slow.
It took days (using adobe media encoder). Where I was able to make a Hap MOV (backup plan) batch (using Livids Batch utility 'no longer available'), took just a few hours.

Yes.  I got it working by highlighting some text and then adding the file. It makes the text the link. (Don't need to add the name.)
