Hi all
The "Current Scene Number" actor for me has an inconsistency. It actually is only true if you use the "Scene Index" scheme. It can only show full numbers. It doesn't match wenn in "manual" or "automatic" scheme. In my opinion it should have the same number as shown in the "scene list" at the bottom and in the "scene select" control. Maybe it should have 2 modes, for example "real number of scenes" or "mirror scene numbers".
second request
The "Scene Select" control is one I use quite often. But when having lots of scenes I would like to split the Scene Select into 2 or more lists. It would be handy to define this in the settings of the control: for example show scene 1-10.

I am trying to use the 'Get/Post URL Text' to send receive information but need to also include authentication information in the header of the request. Is there a way to do that with the current implementation of the actor?
Hi all!
I am currently working on an interactive audio project where I want shapes and various actors to respond to both sound level and frequency. However, I cannot get the sound frequency watcher to respond to any live input. The sound level watcher works just fine, but the frequency actor is providing me some trouble. Are there any obvious steps I'm missing for getting this to work? I am on a Windows 11 machine, if that helps. I do hope this is not a Mac vs. PC problem, as I have already done a lot of cutting and rethinking to get around various audio input limitations when it comes to working on a PC! Thanks so much for all your help, I truly appreciate it!
Hi, I usually use a Mac but I want to do some testing on a nice HP Z840 PC.
I downloaded and installed the USB key version and it doesn't open I keep getting this message. I even tried the non USB key version and I get the same message.
It's a fresh install and I've tried installing it a few times now.
Thanks.
I have sent a crash report from Isadora. My patch is using NDI, Syphon, 3d rendering of the 360 video (received by NDI in Isadora). Xbox controller controls the FOV and other parameters of the rendered view of the spherical image.
Once I connect XBOX controller and use it for a few minutes, Isadora crashes.
UPD: this has nothing to do with the XBOX controller. A simple patch with the NDI In actor crashes Isadora.
Anything I should know about preventing Isadora from crashing?
ISADORA 3.2.6 (INTEL), MACOS SONOMA 14.1
THANKS.
Hi,
It would be great to have numeric actor fields that can do calculations as simple math operations. Alternatively, it would be useful to have a actor that can complete simple math operations at input: for example, 1920*2 resolves within the input field.

Hi,
I found that a lot of my students tend to forget how to show the stages when they haven't worked with Isadora for a couple of months. And a lot of them then say: "If i click on stage off button on the bottom right of the screen, the stage doesn't show".
Maybe it's an idea to change the stage status indicator into a toggle button that shows the stage?
With kind regards
Gertjan
Currently working on a project that has lots of media, video and images. Some of the images and videos I am not longer using.
I would love a feature that removes any unused media; so anything that is not loaded into into a picture player or movie player, etc.
This is a bit of a lazy request because obviously, I can do this manually... but with nearly 100 scenes each with media, it would take time and potentially user error.
Thoughts?
Jumping back into izzy 3 after a long break... I haven't updated since version 1. and I notice there is still an actor category for Quartz. Is Quartz still available? (It seems hard to find and lacks support...?) and does it run reliably on izzy?
Hi everyone! I have a project involving an huge LED wall that is 80 x 4 meters in size. (35800px x 2400px aprox) :0 Has anyone used Isadora for this type of setup? I'm wondering how it could be accomplished. One option is to use fancy servers like Disguise, but I want to maintain the flexibility and real-time visual experimentation that Isadora offers for compositing. I feel comfortable using Isadora for this project. Alternatively, in larger setups like this, it would be better to simply play files without using Isadora. Any advice? Thanks in advance! Cheers!
