When I open the file by double clicking, the actors are missing from the scene, there is no actor. However if I open the application and from the menu bar I choose Open and then the file works correctly.

I need to record the stage (live camera input with effects) and the audio into the same file. It appears that the Capture Stage to Movie actor will only record the visuals not the audio? My work-around is to simultaneously trigger Capture Stage to Movie and Capture Camera to Movie which then need to be edited together. Is there another way of getting the stage and audio recorded in the same file? Recording start/stop needs to be triggered by Isadora.

Isadora 3.2.6 / Mac OS 10.15.7
I am trying to convert a version 2.51 file into a 3.2.6 version and I am having some problems. Does anyone know where can I find replacements actors in 3.2.6 for FFGL colorizer(2.51) and FFGL Brightness(2.51).
Also, I have read the online document “Working with Multiple Displays in Isadora 3,” but I am having a speed problem here. The original 2.5.1 Isadora file(year 2017) is used for an architectural projection that is mapped and blended using 3 HD video projectors, and a master playback video that is 4096x1200 resolution, 25 fps, and Prores 422HQ codec. This file plays perfectly when I am running the 2.51 version, put it only runs at 17 fps under 3.2.6 on teh same computer. In the original version I am using the preview window as a virtual stage, and then using Syphon to send the different videos to the three physical projectors. I am wondering if have done this incorrectly in 3.2.6. For this new version I am using the STAGE SETUP window and SYPHON, see attached screen grabs. The computer is a 2015 Macbook Pro. 2.8Ghz, 16GB Ram, AMD Radeon R9 M370X 2048 MB, and an internal SSD running at 1.8GB/sec. thank you for any suggestions.

It's a silly question, but I'm curious. I've seen some really advanced things run in Isadora, and I was wondering if anyone has tried to run Doom in Isadora, I've seen it run on some obscure equipment and software. Is there any reason why Isadora couldn't run it?

I am building a user actor to simplify the JSON parser cascading form in order to allow faster and more compact programming of Rokoko body part selection. I'll post it into Add-ons page when I finish it. I have a question to solve before I do that.

And here is the very simple user actor's first version
Now, It is not easy for everyone to remember the exact name of the body part (including dashes) so my question is this : I'd like to put inside the user actor an actor that keeps all the right names in a list and I'd like the llist to respond to the vertical slider to respond to a vertical slider that appears in the "body part" user input". A little bit like the effect mixer for instance.
It is easy to have a number input in a user output that sends a text to both a json parser and an USER OUTPUT like this
But can we have a USER INPUT that receives an integer and shows a correspondant text line in a user input field like effect mixer or movie player ?
I seem to remember that there has been discussion in the past for that, but I can't find it in the forum. Somedoby remember ?
I'll do some more testing andf post the user actor.

All is perfect as you can see from the picture, but if I stretch the JSON parser beta the length of the string that appears in the "json in" input property seems to truncate the string. is this normal ? If not I'll post a ticket.

Hello, I am new here and still trying around with Isadora. I noticed that I have a time offset in the movie player, between video and audio. However, this only occurs when I output the video to a TV via HDMI on my MacBook Pro. Is there any way to adjust this time offset?

I've seen some posts related to similar gear but they are now outdated .
for a permanent (2months) installation we need to output x4 4k60fps signals from a MacBook Pro M2 Max or Mac Studio M1 Ultra with Isadora.
were considering on using the BlackMagic Decklink 8k Pro card enclosed on a Sonnet Echo chassis.
we don't have direct access to this configuration for borrowing or rental here in Portugal and the company that sells it here has a no-return policy.
On paper it sounds that this setup can work for the purpose we need, but I was wondering if someone around here has any recent experience with a similar setup. we need to be more sure before making this sort of investment.
Im wondering how reliable it is and what might be the issues we find in the way to make it work.

I am downloading and installing the Thales Sentinel HASP/LDK Mac OS X Runtime GUI Installation 9.13 KB0018323 for the fourth time in a month as it appears to fail to survive any Mac OS update on Mac Studio 2023 (this time Ventura 13.5).

On several occasions I have mistakenly deleted media captured during a session, disregarding the warning given!
Is it possible that the mistakenly deleted captured media could be sent to the Recycle Bin / Trash rather than being immediately deleted forever?
It'd help us idiots out occasionally
