Entecc problem serial port issues and set up issues does not work on show patch, works on test patch
Hi there,
I am (trying) to use enttec pro mk2 for show. I am having trouble to set up serial port (Isa is freezing&crashing COMs are disappearing, no. 4 constantly busy). I have some feeling it is a set up problem. This is happening on special partition/win install for shows. I was able to run test on office win partition which is bloated by many things. So it is really somehow currious. The only different thing us, that show i stance uses midi. (Collecting signals from sensors via rassberry which is programmed that ut outputs midi. On windows side it uses midi loop and vmpk - winkeyboard in order to get it to isa.
Anybody please has an idea - maybe it is a wrong set up somewhere?

Might sound like an odd question.
Is there a way to change the Stage Settings by the click of a button, or in my case a dmx channel trigger?

Getting the following strange message:
PANASONIC GH4 DSLR > ELGATO HD60 S > ISADORA. Has anybody been able to make this setup work using the GH4 for live capture, as my laptop will not recognize the the Elgato device? Elgato does not show up in Quicktime or any of the Elgato softwares. Any guidance and advice would be much appreciated. I'm using Izzy 3.2.6 in a Macbook Pro, 8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7, Ventura 13.2.1.

But since we are in the kitchen here I'd like to ask all of you about the math that is under the logo's movement in the 3d space. How the Isadora logo can not only can shrink and expant in relationship to hand distance (that is relatively easy although I haven't tried yet) bit orient in 3d. It is mathematically challenging for me who's not good at math....
I'd love to try it with a video instead of a logo

I'm exploring ways to have a second Isadora instance, on a second computer with the exact same specs, to run a show file simultaneously. 3x DisplayPorts Outputs per machine, 6x outputs total going into the Video Matrix. (This is in a critical live-show environment where redundancy is an absolute necessity) - If anything goes wrong with Computer "A", we switch to Computer "B" from the Video Matrix (this would be a manual operation from the operator.)
I tried searching on the forums but could not find any trails to follow..
I'm thinking OSC commands that send triggers from Computer A and receive the triggers on Computer B but that obviously means two different show files. I'm wondering if someone might have a better idea.

I am artist - choreographer and I love using Isa, but my technically abilities are limited. Also as an artist I somehow prefer to create and not always have patience to learn tech. I need to upgrade existing patch.
I have show, where I use 2 layered video projection. Control or trigger which video is visible is done by getting signal from light two sensors. There is soft crossfade from one to another. I need as a next step that light is dimmed out and in in sync with video triggered by same sensors. I have a functioning patch with sensors and video. (I will be updating the patch to video and shuffled pictures.) I need someone to help me to upgrade patch that it can also control lights. I have Enttec DMX USB Pro. I suppose for proficient users it is not really big deal.
Anybody would be interested to help me? Of course it is payed opportunity.
