I have used a Wiimote in a project back in 2010, the actor uses an IR-Pen to reveal the live camera that you see on the right side and the Wiimote is about 8m away up in the rigg and used as IR camera.

I don't know where this misunderstanding originated, but three times now on this forum and elsewhere I've seen users claim that Syphon does not work on Catalina. This simply isn't true.

Syphon 100% does work on macOS Catalina.

I just used Syphon this morning on Catalina v10.15.5 and everything works just fine with OBS. But to prove it, here's a snap of the Syphon test applications working fine under Catalina.

Since you are on windows, but don't mention if its a laptop, or what type of video card is installed, I will add this possible configuration fix.

If you have a windows laptop, with a dedicated graphics card AND an onboard Intel graphics chip, you may need to follow these instructions to get Isadora to work correctly.
Configure windows laptop graphics for Isadora
This may solve your problem.

@bonemap, @dbini, I have the go ahead for this little mobile projection project.  I'll do a separate post on this too, but thought I would add the information here too.  Again, I have no idea how this will end up, but I think it'll be fun to experiment!  I'll be strapping some projectors to my truck, projecting onto apartments, houses, storefronts and lawns of various Cincinnati neighborhoods; bringing projection art to the people, as it were.  Since we'll be moving, we can't really do any sort of mapping, and the content should be pretty atmospheric and textural, given we'll be projecting onto a multitude of surfaces.  But thematically, it should focus on our current separation, and what still connects us, either as a city or globally.  There will be a small stipend for this, but I can't give a concrete amount at the moment; basically whatever is left of the funding after equipment expenses will be divided up between collaborators.  Just let me know if you'd be down to play, and we'll work out the specifics.  Thanks!

Is it possible to export an HTML canvas element (that involves a live video feed) directly into Isadora?

(we are using the p5js library to create elements that overlay video input and want to be able to pull the video out of the browser and into Isadora.)

@DillTheKraut i checked my harddrive and looks like the attempt to control the ascender hasn't been worked out, there is some heavy back and forth involved in the communication with analog way. But i can really recommend bitfocus companion they take care of it. It is difficult to send a "T-Bar Level" with companion but analog ways products doesn't really like it at all to be in-between memory settings. In the downloaded livecore commands there shall be an overview of all variables you can use "LiveCore_TPP_variables_for_v04-02-23" with the "send custom command" in companion. Just be aware that they start there numbering with 0 so preset 6 has to recalled as preset 5 internal.

Hi everyone

Was wondering if anyone has had this problem before. It seems that on launch Isadora gets hung up on a Lead.dll file. It gets to this file then stops loading everything else. What's weird is that there is no crash. The program is still running and the izzy icon in the taskbar is there but no window. None of my other programs are doing this just Isadora. Reinstall does not work.

I agree with you about the importance of Woody and Steina Vasulka for Video/Media art. I never meet them but their work accompanied me all the time and I always show their work to my students. We lost a fantastic man.
