Hello,
We know that this does not occur often but the field which records/shows the Snapshots is not large enough for values over 99.
Hopefully, this is an easy fix as our outputted movies reference the Snapshot number.
Thank you,
Bruce
Hi Everyone
We did our postponed last show Saturday in Bradford for our Arts Council funded project, a mixed-media intercultural performance.
Unfortunately though the sound and lighting were a success we were let down by the visuals. I have spent much time over the last 6 months trying to set up a system which needs 2 macs because the depth camera will only work on older macs. I had carefully setup matching Isadora files and Ableton projects on each computer. I need the new one for sound. The set up of necessity needed data to be sent from one computer to the other to synchronous sound and vision. As well as the Orbbec I use a web cam for capturing movement of dancer. Basically it proved unreliable. There have always been issues but unfortunately on Saturday evening I had to resort to actually running from one mac to the next manually pressing keys to play the correct video with the correct backing track. Needless to say everything was out of sync. I am at the point of giving up using a depth camera as there seems to be no prospect of getting it to work reliably. This is disappointing as I have spent considerable time over the last six months trying to set up what is a very over-complicated system.
Does anyone have any advice!?
Thanks, David

Re: [[ANSWERED] Mac Sierra](LOAD indicator is reporting huge loads while recording the stage.)
Hi folks,
In the thread referenced above @CitizenJoe quotes @DusX that LOAD in Izzy is a measure of performance in Isadora and not system usage. Does that mean that if a scene has a heavy load that I'm not in any great danger of crashes, if I haven't experienced that yet?
I have a scene that is like one of the most basic I have made. It's a still image being manipulated via TT Grid Warp on a keyboard trigger. Even prior to the trigger my LOAD indicator goes up to 110%. The result looks good and, because it's a still, dropped frames is not an issue. But, again, is it correct that a large percentage doesn't mean that Izzy is going to crash? I've been running this for a long time with no crashes, but I just want to make sure. (Also, I guess I'm just curious if there's something about the TT Grid Warp actor that takes more than usual processing power.)
Thanks in advance!
Jake
Just an idle thought having read several 1/2 hour commentators' experiences with the Apple VisionPro: how cool would Isadora be inside that bubble?? The future might be 3D Izzy with surround sound behind goggles.
Idly yours, John
Sorry, I forgot to post this earlier, but there's still a few days left to apply for this year's Oulu Dance Hack. https://taikabox.com/hack/
Hello, I'm working on a show next week with some audience phone interaction bits using Isadora.
We're looking for someone who has experience with this, or is a general Isadora expert to help us next week or early during the week after!
We have the prototype working using JSON data, we mainly need ways to make the visuals fun and exciting. Thinking along the lines of phone apps / TikTok / emoji etc. For example, we'd love to fill the screen with different emoji that audiences choose.
We're working in the east of England but open to someone working remotely. Fee can be negotiated. Thanks!
